She looked at herself in the mirror. The slightest wrinkle always jumped out at her. She would then quickly cover it with makeup. She wasn’t old, though. And she knew it. But this world made her forget that fact. In this world, all the little flaws could be seen as the nose in the middle of the face.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door. She turned around and asked who had knocked. It was someone who came to tell her that she was going to be on stage in a few minutes. She sighed, telling him she was coming. The person left. She got up from her chair, applying a little more makeup. Then she took one last look at her reflection, finding it horrible, as usual. She sighed again, coming out of her dressing room.
Once on stage, out there, she was going to put on a costume that wasn’t usually hers. A role with which she could escape the time of a performance.
